Sakta is a student film by Geawargios Hanna created as a final project for his university studies.
"We are in 2021, earth is governed by a new totalitarian regime. An elitist system, spreading conflicts, wars and terrorism all over the world to keep the power in the hands of a handful of unknown leaders. One of their ultimate aims is to destroy all hope among people by banning all sorts of art to keep the future prospect glooming. Painting, drawing , sculpture, poetry and cinema were banned. Music is the only indestructible weapon in the hands of the revolution."
The locations that were chosen and transformed for this project were an old abandoned beer factory, a parking garage and a building rooftop.
